** If your mandatory requirements are not up-to-date, you will see a red banner when you click on your placement tab.  Outstanding Mandatories will have to be provided well before placement or your placement will be cancelled.

4th Year Students Only

You will be advised via email when placements are ready to be viewed.   To access your current placement details please click on the “Placements” tab. 
Listed under the Placements Tab will be your allocated placements for 4110AHS, 4111AHS and 4112AHS.

Click on the “Details” tab for detailed information regarding your placement.    

 

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ORGANISE THE FOLLOWING: 
 

  • Transport to and from placement
  • AccommodationChild Care (if required) 
  • Time off work for placement
  • Renewal of ALL Mandatory Requirements


ABSENT FROM PLACEMENT: 

 

If you are absent from placement, you must notify the Professional Placement Officer via email (nanddplacements@griffith.edu.au) or phone on the morning of your absence and your clinical educator/supervisor by phone.  As per the Professional Placements Manual you also need to provide a Doctors Certificate (upload to documents tab) and email a copy to the Professional Placement Officer. Timesheets must be completed for absences and changes to placement sites.

 

Failure to not notify anyone of your non-attendance in a timely manner will lead to a Tier 1 breach.  If students do not attend their placement they may be faced with the possibility of failing the subject.  

 

Please ensure you have read the Professional Placements Manual for Nutrition and Dietetics which contains in-depth information regarding all policy and procedures for Placement.
