IMPORTANT
Students are only eligible to undertake a Community Internship once as an undergraduate student and once as a post graduate student.
* Undergraduate students require a minimum 80 Credit Points of a university degree, at the start of the trimester when taking this course.   Unless they are a Masters students where the minimum credit point does not apply.
*
Students MUST enrol to progress an internship.
* Late enrolments (from beginning of Orientation Week) will have very limited Community Internship opportunities, due to advised Partner timeframe notification conditions.

OUA students enrolled in a listed Griffith degree, are able to complete a Community Internship (NOTE: ONLY OUA students - who are completing one of the degrees Griffith University offers that can be completed entirely through Open Universities Australia (listed below) are eligible: https://www.griffith.edu.au/open-universities-australia/degree registration

GENERAL
CHECKS– it is important that students, upon enrolling in 3002LFC/7510LFC, understand and commit to ensuring ALL checks are to be ‘finalised & cleared’ in Sonia Checks tab, prior to them commencing their allocated Community Internship.

PREFERENCES
* The earlier a student submits their preferences the sooner they can be allocated.
* Once a student is allocated a Community Internship, changes to allocations will only be considered in EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES and need to be requested in writing, via email to obtain Course Convenor approval.
* Therefore, students need to make sure they read all information and choose carefully.

ALLOCATIONS
The Community Internships team aim to commence allocations, as soon as possible - students who submit their preferences early will be contacted to progress their internship.

BRING YOUR OWN (BYO Internship)
