All Fit for Placement documents are to be submitted online.  For instructions on how to submit, please go to the Fit for Placement website. https://www.griffith.edu.au/griffith-health/fit-for-placement  For instruction on how to submit your documents, go to the bottom of the page and please watch the short video which will explain how to submit.  Then choose the School of Medical Science from the list of Schools offered and bookmark this page.

There is a range of self help resources available on the Fit for Placement website, so that you can see what you will need to do to become fit for placement.  This way you can then work your way through to being compliant and ready to go on placement when the time comes.  Please don't hesitate to contact your Clinical Placement Coordinator if you have any questions.

All students must complete all compliance requirements by the end of Trimester one of their first year.

Announcements

Students should prepare early for Clinical Placement as some compliance requirements take time to complete.    For instance, the AF Police check and Blue Card applications can take six to eight weeks.  Gaining an appointment for a Mantoux test from the Tuberculosis Clinic can take three months.  A full course of Hepatitis B vaccination and serology takes months.
